When the generator set is running short of cylinders, abnormal noise, insufficient power, jitter and other symptoms may occur. During the generator set operation, one or two cylinders do not work, and other cylinders act normally. What is the reason for this?
The following is a summary of this problem by Haixing Power
① When starting in cold winter, due to the cold weather, some cylinders do not work at the idle speed every day, but with the increase of the operating temperature, all cylinders gradually work normally;
② Due to the excessive load, some cylinders have mechanical failures such as piston ring breakage, cylinder pulling or valve sealing, which makes the cylinder compressive pressure not required, resulting in the cylinder not working;
③ Due to the quality of the oil used by the user, the fuel injector nozzle is blocked or stuck, so the cylinder does not inject oil, so the cylinder does not work;
④ The piston and oil outlet valve of the injector pump fail, resulting in the wrong oil supply timing of the cylinder or does not supply oil, making the cylinder not working;
⑤ Factors of the electrical control system (such as not power-on, poor connection of the wiring and sockets, etc.) cause the fuel injector of a certain cylinder to not inject oil;
⑥ The intake and exhaust valve of a certain cylinder is ablated or blocked, resulting in the sealing of the cylinder not working.
The problem of cylinder shortage is a question that has been consulted more. Most people have seen some fault manifestations of cylinder shortage, but they are not clear about this. This is the so-called cylinder shortage operation. I believe that through Haixing's introduction, everyone can not only understand the reasons for cylinder shortage, but also know how to deal with it correctly.
