The first container-type gas turbine generator developed by Dong'an, China is released

Recently, the QD15 A-type container gas turbine developed and produced by AVIC Dong'an generator set passed the factory acceptance, which marks a major breakthrough in the development of this unit. It is reported that this is the first container gas turbine unit in China.
It is understood that the rated output power of the QD15 A-type gas engine unit is 1500KW and the designed service life is 15 years. AVIC Dong'an has started the development of the unit since 2007. Based on the mature experience of the original vehicle-mounted gas engine, the designers focused on optimizing design and testing in unit power supply performance, structural integration, environmental adaptability, etc., and integrated the gas turbine generator set and its affiliated fuel tanks, cables, backup diesel generator sets , etc. into the container to meet the container transportation requirements. In addition, the designers have added anti-salt spray, anti-sun and 'three-proof' designs according to user requirements, which can ensure the environmental adaptability and service life of the unit.
Due to the high technical requirements of R&D and high technical requirements, designers have overcome many difficulties in the development and adopted a number of new technologies, new structures and new processes. At present, the project has applied for 6 national patent technology and has obtained one authorization. It is reported that the unit will be delivered to users in February.
