Domestic agricultural machinery has always been a product with a large number of exported machinery in my country. Due to the impact of the subprime mortgage loan crisis and the continued rise in energy and mineral products and grain prices such as oil have caused inflation worldwide, and uncertain factors in the economic environment have increased significantly. World economic growth has slowed down. my country's economic operation and implementation of macro-control faces great pressure. However, over the years, my country's government has implemented policies to strengthen agriculture and benefit farmers. Therefore, in the face of market food shortage, my country's agriculture has achieved bumper harvests year by year, and the import and export trade of agricultural machinery has also benefited. In the first half of 2008, my country's agricultural machinery import and export trade maintained a continuous rapid growth. According to 110 code statistics from the customs, the import and export volume of various agricultural machinery (including power machinery and drainage and irrigation machinery) was US$13.544 billion, an increase of 44.68% year-on-year, of which: imports were US$5.727 billion, an increase of 31.6%; exports were US$7.818 billion, an increase of 56%, and a trade surplus of US$2.091 billion.
