The cable of the Qianyu Line is buried under the non-motor vehicle road on the south side of Jingshi Road and is easily damaged by external forces, causing power outages in the water plant. The water outage poses hidden dangers to Jinan's economic development and citizens' lives.
Recently, Hongquan Water Production Company invested more than 1.5 million yuan to purchase a diesel engine and low-voltage generator to replace the second-line power supply solution of Yuqing Water Plant, and cooperated with Jinan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. After investigation, the production, installation, and debugging work were completed within three months. The use of diesel engines to drive water pumps has been used abroad, but there is no precedent in the domestic water supply industry.
