Although the temperature has gradually dropped, abnormal temperature of the generator set must be paid attention to. As one of the more questions consulted by customers, how do abnormal high temperature failures of the generator set occur? Let’s take a look at the reasons analysis of Haixing Power’s technicians, and only by finding the reasons can we take countermeasures. The reasons for the high temperature of
the generator set are as follows:
1. Long-term overload operation
. The diesel engine will increase its fuel consumption and increase its heat load, resulting in excessive water temperature. To this end, long-term overload operations should be avoided.
2. Insufficient coolant
If the cooling liquid is missing in the diesel engine cooling system, it will affect the heat dissipation effect of the diesel engine and cause high temperature of the diesel engine. In this regard, the coolant stock in the radiator and expansion tank should be checked frequently, and when the liquid level is low, it should be replenished in time.
3. Poor cooling liquid circulation
, insufficient thermostat opening will reduce the heat dissipation ability of the diesel engine cooling system. If the diesel engine is high, you can put the thermostat into water for heating inspection. Generally, the opening distance of the thermostat is 8 to 10mm.
Reminder: If the water pump performance is poor, it will cause the coolant flow to decrease and cause the diesel engine to have high temperatures.
4. The heat dissipation device interferes with each other
. If the hydraulic oil radiator and the water radiator are placed one in front and one behind, when the hydraulic oil temperature is too high, it will inevitably cause the cold air temperature on the inlet side of the water radiator to be too high, affecting the heat dissipation of the water radiator. In this regard, the heat dissipation of the hydraulic system should be inspected to reduce the impact of hydraulic oil radiator on poor heat dissipation of diesel engine water radiator.
5.
Debris attached to the surface of the radiator. Debris attached to the surface of the radiator will reduce the heat dissipation area of the radiator, and the windward area of the radiator will reduce, resulting in a reduced heat dissipation ability of the radiator, causing the diesel engine to be high temperature 6. The fan belt is too loose or the fan deformed
fan belt is too loose, which can easily lead to a decrease in the fan speed, causing the radiator to fail to exert its due heat dissipation ability, resulting in the diesel engine temperature being too high. In addition, fan deformation will also lead to the inadequate heat dissipation capability of the radiator. In this regard, you should regularly check whether the diesel engine fan belt is loose and whether the fan shape is abnormal.
