1: When the diesel engine is running
when there is insufficient oil, it will cause insufficient oil supply on each friction pair surface due to insufficient oil supply, resulting in abnormal wear or injury. To this end, before the diesel generator starts and during the diesel engine operation, it is necessary to ensure sufficient engine oil to prevent cylinder pulling and tile burning failures due to lack of oil.
2: The machine is stopped with load or immediately after the load is suddenly removed.
The diesel engine generator is turned off and the circulation of the cooling system water stops. The heat dissipation ability is sharply reduced, and the heated parts lose cooling, which can easily cause the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block and other parts to overheat, create cracks, or cause the piston to over-expand and get stuck in the cylinder liner. On the other hand, the diesel generator does not cool down at idle speed when it is shut down, which will cause insufficient oil on the friction surface, and when the diesel engine starts again, it will aggravate wear due to poor lubrication. Therefore, the diesel generator should be unloaded before the engine is turned off, and the speed should be gradually reduced and the no-load operation should be carried out for several minutes.
3: After cold start, the diesel generator is running with load before the engine is warmed up.
When the cold start is started, due to the large viscosity of the oil and poor fluidity, the oil pump is insufficient oil supply. The friction surface of the machine is poorly lubricated due to oil deficiency, resulting in sharp wear and even failures such as cylinder pulling and tiles burning. Therefore, after the diesel engine is cooled and started, it should run at idle speed and heat up, and then run with load when the standby oil temperature reaches above 40℃; the machine should be in the low-speed gear at the start and drive in each gear for a period of mileage until the oil temperature is normal and the oil supply is sufficient, then it can turn to normal driving.
4: If the diesel engine is started coldly
, the speed of the diesel generator will rise sharply, causing some friction surfaces on the machine to wear violently due to dry friction. In addition, the piston, connecting rod and crankshaft reception forces change greatly when the throttle is hit, causing violent impacts and easily damage the machine parts.
5: Running
the diesel generator with insufficient cooling water or the temperature of cooling water and engine oil is too high will reduce its cooling effect. The diesel engine will overheat due to inadequate cooling water and engine oil; the oil temperature of the cooling water and engine oil will also cause the diesel engine to overheat. At this time, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston assembly and valve of the diesel generator are mainly subjected to high heat load, and its mechanical properties such as strength and toughness drop sharply, causing the deformation of parts to increase, reducing the fitting gap between parts, accelerating wear of the machine parts, and in severe cases, cracks and machine parts will also cause failures such as severe cases. Overheating of the diesel generator will also worsen the combustion process of the diesel engine, causing the injector to work abnormally, poor atomization, and increase carbon accumulation.
