Project inspection cannot be ignored during the entire operation of the generator set

Many people believe that after there is no problem in checking the generator set before use, it can be put into use with peace of mind, and there is no need to check or frequently during use. In fact, this is a misunderstanding in everyone's operation. For power generation equipment, you must pay attention to the inspection of multiple projects throughout the entire operation process.

1. Check the indicators of the diesel generator according to the specified time, pay attention to the pressure of the lubricant and whether the water temperature has changed. The pressure of lubricating oil must not be less than 150kPa, and the cooling water temperature must not be higher than 95℃.

2. Check the oil level of the crankcase of the diesel generator, the oil level of the fuel tank, and the water level of the radiator. Replenishment should be provided when the diesel generator crankcase is lower than the normal position.

3. Check whether the instruments and alarm indicators on the distribution screen of the diesel generator are normal. Any red light is on indicating a fault, and the green light is the normal operation indicator.

4. Check whether the charger is charging normally.

5. Listen to whether the operating sound of each part of the unit is normal.

6. Whether the temperature feels normal in the body shell, bearing area shell, oil pipe, and water pipe.

7. Pay attention to whether the diesel generator or electrical equipment has any odors such as burnt.

8. If there are any adverse situations, they should be dealt with immediately; if there are serious cases, they should be shut down.

9. Whenever the fault is stopped, the fault must be eliminated, and then press the repeated hand button on the diesel generator to operate again.

10. For each operating parameter, record at least twice per shift.

During the operation of a diesel generator set, not only should we check carefully according to the steps, but we should also check and record frequently, so that we can promptly detect the bad situations of the unit. Only by following the steps of inspection before, during and after operation can the diesel generator be ensured.
