Question 1: I ask about the purchase time, purpose and reason for the diesel engine, the repair situation and what major parts have been replaced, and what problems are there in use, so as to have a relatively comprehensive understanding of the machine.

Second look: First, check whether the model is an out-of-date model, then check the new and old degree of the diesel engine from the appearance, check whether the parts are complete and whether there is any damage.

The third test: It is to test the machine. The specific method for debugging the diesel generator set is

1. Rotate the crankshaft and make the oil supply pump supply oil. If the injector makes a crisp sound from the injector, it means that the performance of the plunger pair and the injector is good; if there is no abnormal sound in the gear room, it means that the wear of the gear is not serious.

2. Shake the flywheel up and down, if there is no sound or obvious shaking, it means that the gap between the main journal of the crankshaft and the bearing shell is not large; if there is no clicking sound, it means that the wear between the journal of the crankshaft connecting rod and the bearing shell is not serious.

3. Decompress the cylinder and shake the crankshaft. When the decompression is removed, if the piston rebounds greatly and the flywheel rotates rapidly, it means that the wear level of the cylinder liner, piston, and piston ring is small. At this time, the oil pressure gauge reading should not be less than 1 or the oil pressure indicates that the red float can rise quickly, and the hand pressure float should be laborious.

4. It is easier to start the diesel engine, the exhaust is colorless or light gray, the speed is stable and there is no noise, which means that the diesel engine is in good technical condition.

Through the above methods, the old and new levels of old diesel generator sets can generally be distinguished. In this way, making procurement judgments will be more accurate. In addition, everyone should be wary of equipment that is too low-priced, carefully purchase and identify it carefully.
