Solve common problems of small and medium-sized generators
1. If you do not use it for a long time (more than three months) and follow the following steps to store
A. Release the gasoline in the fuel tank and carburetor
B. Release the oil in the crankcase
C. Add new engine oil to the upper limit of oil level of the dipstick
D. Close the choke and pull the starter handle to the place where there is resistance
E. Wipe the unit clean and cover it with a carton or plastic cover to prevent dust

2. Why does the machine automatically shut down when there is insufficient oil?
When the oil is insufficient, the oil warning switch inside the engine will ground the primary coil of the ignition coil, making the ignition coil unable to ignite and the engine will turn off. How to check whether the oil level is standard: Put the engine in a horizontal position, screw out the dipstick, clean and dry it, then insert the oil addition port (no need to rotate), then pull it out, and check that the oil level is above the middle of the dipstick.

3. Why does the output power of generators decrease in high altitude areas?
Answer: The atmosphere in high altitude areas is thin, and the mixed fuel provided by the main nozzle of the carburetor to the engine cannot be fully burned due to relatively thin air. At this time, the engine speed may be unstable and the silencer will emit black smoke. The engine must be run smoothly by changing the correct main nozzle. The output power of the engine decreases with the increase of altitude, and the output power of the generator set also decreases. For every 1,000 meters increase of altitude, the power is reduced by 10%. If the correct main nozzle is not replaced, the engine's power loss will be much greater than this standard and the operating condition is unstable. The main nozzle of the standard model is only used for altitude below 1500 meters.

4. Why should the air door be closed when the cold machine starts, and the air door be opened when the heater starts?
Answer: Because the engine starts to close the damper when it is in the chiller, the air entering the carburetor is reduced and the concentration of the mixture is increased, the engine of this engine is easier to start. If the cooler opens the damper at this time, the mixture will easily absorb on the intake air duct wall, resulting in poor atomization and will not be easy to start.
Because when the engine is in the heater, the damper must be opened to start, so that the proportion of the mixture entering the combustion chamber reaches normal, and then it can be started easily. When the damper is closed, the air entering the carburetor is reduced, greatly increasing the concentration of the mixture, which will make it difficult to start.

5. What should I do when the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is damaged and needs to be replaced?
Answer: The generator set does not generate electricity. The common fault is the damage to the automatic voltage regulator. Therefore, when some people find that the generator set does not generate electricity, they often use the new AVR to replace the old AVR to solve the problem. When the user did this, he found that the new AVR had lost its effect after using it for a few minutes, and then complained that the AVR was of poor quality. In fact, AVR damage is often caused by overloading the generator set, causing the rotor to be short-circuited and causing the AVR damage. Therefore, before replacing the AVR, you must first check whether the resistance of the rotor is normal (for example, the resistance of the EC2500CX is 45-50 Ohm). If the rotor's electric group is not normal, replace the rotor first and then replace the AVR.

Answer: The inspection and processing of spark plugs are divided into three steps:
Step 1: Check the carbon deposits of the spark plug. If there is carbon deposit, use a copper brush to clean it.
Step 2: Check the gap between the spark plugs. The standard gap is 0.7-0.8MM, about three business cards thick. If the gap is wrong, adjust it.
