Daily maintenance and emergency start-up procedures for diesel generator sets

1. Daily inspection and maintenance of emergency generator sets

1. An emergency generator no-load start test is carried out on Monday of the third week of each month.

2. Check and record the generator room and body every week.

3. The unit starts and runs for no less than 20 minutes each time to ensure lubrication of the unit's moving parts.

4. Check the tightening of the box wire, neutral wire and ground wire of the generator set

5. General inspection content

1) Check the fuel tank oil level.

2) Check the oil level of the diesel engine.

3) Check the liquid level of the water tank.

4) Check whether there is any leakage in oil, gas and water pipes.

5) Check the tightening of the connection bolts of the diesel engine.

6) Check the wire connection of the electrical instrument.

7) Check whether there are any abnormalities in each instrument.

8) Check whether there is oil leakage on the connecting flange surface of the fuel injection pump.

9) Clean the hygiene of generator sets and auxiliary equipment.

10) Clean the diesel engine oil and water separator every three months.

2. Daily maintenance of battery

1. Ensure that the battery pack is in full power (above 24V).

2. Clean the surface of the battery to ensure that the battery is clean and free of foreign objects and the wiring piles are free of corrosion.

3. Diesel engine air, fuel, and oil filter

1. Clean the air filter every 72 hours of operation. If the filter element is found to be damaged, replace it in time.

2. If the generator is running for 100 hours or finds that the oil supply is not smooth, the fuel filter should be cleaned in time. If it is difficult to clean or damaged, it should be replaced in time.

3. Clean the oil filter every 200 hours of operation of the generator set. If it is damaged, replace it in time.

4. Change the oil every 500 hours of the generator set.

4. Emergency start

1. After receiving a power outage notice, be ready 30 minutes before the power outage, start the generator set 5 minutes before the power outage. If the external power outage is outage, first cut off the external incoming line and convert it into an emergency generator set for power supply.

2. After an external call, cut off the power supply of the emergency generator set in time and convert it into an external call.

3. After the emergency generator is shut down, check whether the equipment is abnormal, whether there are any abnormal noises in the auxiliary equipment, and complete the emergency power generation without any other abnormalities.
