Generator setThe smoke exhaust pipeline design is in place and reasonable, which can not only ensure the normal operation of the unit, but also create a good machine room environment for users. Therefore, it is very particular when designing and installing smoke exhaust pipes. Haixing Power has compiled the following suggestions for users:
1. All smoke exhaust pipes should be well supported and fixed. Unsupported silencers cannot be installed on the unit manifold or unit boost outlet.

2. A soft connection should be installed between the smoke pipe and the unit to absorb the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipe, the displacement and vibration of the unit; the soft connection should be as close as possible to the smoke exhaust outlet of the unit (supercharger or exhaust manifold).

3. Rainproof caps, covers and other rainproof designs should be installed at the end of the exhaust pipe to prevent rain and snow from entering. The part of the smoke pipe close to the unit should be installed with a condensate collector and drain valve.

4. It is recommended that the unit equipment share the exhaust pipe. The accumulation of carbon dust and condensate emitted by equipment during operation will cause damage to non-operating units, and passively driven superchargers will cause bearing failure due to lack of lubrication.

5. Shorten the length of the smoke exhaust system as much as possible to reduce the resistance (pressure) of the system; too high a pressure value will affect the combustion efficiency and increase the exhaust temperature, resulting in engine power loss and shortening its working life. Therefore, the length of the smoke pipe should be shortened as much as possible, the number of elbows should be reduced, the silencer resistance should be reduced and the diameter of the smoke pipe should be increased. In order to facilitate smoke emission, reduce the chance of gas condensation and reduce the level of smoke.

6. Positioning of the smoke exhaust outlet of the generator set. A convenient exit is not a good location. Factors such as wind direction, building design, layout, distance, etc. should be taken into consideration to select a suitable exit location.
