The smoke exhaust pipeline of the generator set is designed in place and reasonably, which not only ensures the normal operation of the unit, but also creates a good computer room environment for users. Therefore, it is very particular when designing and installing smoke exhaust pipes. Haixing Power has compiled the following suggestions for all users:
1. All smoke exhaust pipes should have good support and fixation. Unsupported silence cannot be installed at the unit manifold or the unit boost outlet.
2. A soft connection should be installed between the smoke pipe and the unit to absorb the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline, the displacement and vibration of the unit; the soft connection should be as close to the unit's smoke exhaust outlet (supercharger or exhaust manifold) as possible.
3. Rainproof caps, covers and other rainproof designs should be installed at the terminals of the smoke exhaust pipe to prevent rain and snow from entering. The smoke pipe part close to the unit should be equipped with a condensate collector and drainage valve.
4. It is recommended that unit equipment share smoke exhaust pipes. The accumulation of carbon dust and condensate emitted by the equipment during operation will cause damage to the non-operating unit, and the passively driven supercharger will cause bearing failure due to lack of lubrication.
5. Shorten the length of the smoke exhaust system as much as possible, thereby reducing the resistance (pressurized) of the system; an excessively high pressure value will affect the combustion efficiency, increase the exhaust temperature, thereby leading to engine power loss and shortening its working life. Therefore, the length of the smoke pipe should be shortened as much as possible, the number of elbows should be reduced, the silence resistance should be reduced and the diameter of the smoke pipe should be increased. It facilitates flue gas emissions, reduces the chance of gas condensation, and reduces the degree of flue gas.
6. Positioning of the smoke exhaust outlet of the generator set. A convenient exit is not a good location. A suitable exit location should be selected in consideration of factors such as wind direction, building design, layout, and distance.
