After adding it, do not use it immediately. Let the battery rest for about 15 minutes.

2. When charging the battery for the first time, the charging time should not be more than 4 hours, otherwise too long charging time will damage the battery life. However, in the following circumstances, the charging time can be extended appropriately:

1. The battery storage time is more than 3 months, and the charging time can be 8 hours;

2. When the ambient temperature is continuously higher than 30℃ (86F) or the relative humidity is continuously higher than 80%, the charging time is 8 hours;

3. If the generator set battery has been stored for more than 1 year, the charging time can be 12 hours. During charging, check whether the electrolyte level is sufficient and add electrolyte with a specific gravity of 1:1.28.

3. When charging the battery, the battery filter cap or vent cover should be opened, and the electrolyte level should be checked and adjusted with distilled water; in addition, in order to prevent long-term shutdown, the dirty gas in the generator set battery cannot be discharged and water droplets can remain in the battery. The top wall on the inside of the unit cell is fixed, and special ventilation holes should be opened to allow smooth air flow.
