Generator lubricant oil management matters

The operating status of the generator set is related to its quality, but it depends more on correct installation, standardized operation and daily maintenance. In order to keep the generator set in good operation and lubrication and maintenance, Haixing has compiled some lubricating and oil management matters, which will be introduced in detail below.

(1) Bulk oil products

1 The containers for containers containing and storing lubricating oil must be clean;

2 Pay special attention to preventing moisture and impurities from being mixed during storage.

3 The storage period of bulk lubricating oil should not exceed six months.

4 The density of lubricating oil products is about 0.75~0.95g/cm, which is lighter than water and insoluble in water. The flash point (opening) of lubricating oil is generally higher than 150℃. It is a combustible item. Pay attention to preventing outflow from polluting the environment and ignition and combustion.

5 Indicate the product name, brand, level, quantity and inventory date, etc.

6 In principle, the same oil produced by different manufacturers cannot be mixed and stored. If mixed and stored, you should first perform a 'mixed test' to confirm that there are no adverse reactions before you can operate it.

(2) Boiled oil products

1. Oil loading and unloading trucks are strictly prohibited from operating wildly. The oil products should be stacked at an appropriate height to avoid danger or damage to the product.

2. During storage, just like bulk oil products, special attention should be paid to prevent moisture and impurities from being mixed.

3 The storage period of barrel lubricating oil products can be longer than that of bulk, but generally not more than one year.

4 Different oil products should be stacked separately and marked with clear product name, brand, grade, quantity and storage, etc. to avoid making mistakes during delivery.
