Generator setAbnormal noise may be a sign of problems within the equipment. How do we determine the source of the noise and identify the faulty component? Haixing has sorted out the characteristics and simple causes of several common component noises for your convenience.

1. Exhaust noise: Exhaust is a high-temperature, high-speed pulsating airflow noise. The main components of exhaust noise include the following: low-frequency pulsating noise caused by periodic exhaust smoke, and air column resonance in the exhaust pipe. Noise, Helmholtz resonance noise of the cylinder, noise generated when high-speed airflow passes through the valve clearance and curved pipes.

2. Mechanical noise: Generally speaking, mechanical noise is mainly caused by the vibration or mutual impact of the moving parts of the engine caused by the periodic changes in gas pressure and motion inertia force during operation.

3. Combustion noise: Combustion noise is the structural vibration and noise produced by diesel during the combustion process.

4. Cooling fan and exhaust noise: The fan noise of the unit is composed of eddy current noise and rotational noise, which is usually caused by vibration of the external system. Rotating noise is caused by periodic disturbances in the air flow caused by the blades of the electric fan; eddy current noise is generated when the air flow separates on the rotating blade section.

The above is just the judgment of common noise sources introduced by Haixing. There are other types and manifestations of equipment noise. As you continue to operate, you will gradually accumulate complete information. You may wish to inform Haixing of various noise conditions, and the staff will report them. Organize it and share it with more people in need.
