When the oil filter is clogged and the oil cannot pass smoothly, the safety valve located on the filter base will be opened, allowing the oil to directly enter the main oil passage without filtering. However, if the opening pressure of the safety valve is too high and cannot be opened in time, the internal leakage of the oil pump will increase, the oil supply to the main oil passage will be reduced, and the oil pressure will also decrease. The oil filter should be maintained on time and the opening pressure of the safety valve should be correctly adjusted to 0.35-0.45MPa. In addition, if the safety valve spring is aged and the valve seat and steel balls are not tightly sealed, a large amount of engine oil will leak and cause foaming of the oil in the oil pan. At this time, when the oil dipstick is pulled out, you can see the engine oil covered with foam.

In addition, insufficient oil output from the oil pump and damage to the oil return valve may also cause a drop in oil pressure. These situations require careful discovery during daily operations and timely correction to avoid greater losses to the unit.
