When the oil filter is blocked and the oil cannot pass smoothly, the safety valve installed on the filter base will be pushed open, so that the oil directly enters the main oil channel without passing through the filtration. However, if the opening pressure of the safety valve is too high and cannot be opened in time, it will increase the leakage of the oil pump and reduce the oil supply to the main oil duct, and the oil pressure will also decrease. The oil filter should be maintained on time and the safety valve opening pressure should be adjusted correctly to 0.35-0.45MPa. In addition, if the safety valve spring ages and the valve seat and the steel ball are not tightly closed, the oil will leak a lot, causing the oil to foam in the oil pan. At this time, you can see the oil covered with foam when you pull out the dipstick.

In addition, insufficient oil output of the engine oil pump and damage to the oil return valve may also cause a drop in oil pressure. These situations need to be carefully discovered and corrected in time in daily operations to avoid causing greater losses to the unit.
