Five Factors to the Non-Flow Coolant in Cummins Generator Unit

Cummins generator set is Haixing's unit. During the contact with customers, the staff actively solved various questions for everyone. Among them, there are many consultations on the non-circulating coolant problems of the unit. Here, Haixing will briefly tell you the five major reasons for the non-circulating coolant.

The following reasons cause non-circulating coolant:

(1) The radiator fin of the Cummins generator set is blocked or damaged. The cooling fan is not working or the radiator is blocked, the coolant temperature does not pull down, the sink is rusted and damaged, causing leakage, and may also lead to poor blood circulation.

(2) The automatic thermostat of the Cummins generator set is faulty. The engine combustion chamber is equipped with a constant temperature controlled engine combustion chamber for the purpose. If the thermostat is open at a specified temperature (82 degrees), this will help with small circulation. If there is no thermostat, the coolant cannot maintain the circulation temperature, which may cause a low temperature alarm.

(3) If there is a mixture, the pipeline of the cooling system of the Cummins generator set will be blocked. The damage to the suction and expansion tank valve and the discharge valve will affect the direct pressure during the cycle. Then it should be checked at all times. If the pressure value meets the regulations, the suction pressure is 10kpa and the exhaust pressure is 40kpa. In addition to the work of the exhaust pipe, it is also an important factor to judge blood circulation.

(4) The coolant level is low or does not comply with the Cummins generator set. Low liquid level can be directly resulted in increasing the cooling water temperature. This will lead to non-circulation of the coolant. The coolant of the component is 50% antifreeze + 50% softened water DCA4. If it is not specified, the pipe will be blocked and the inner wall of the inner pipe will rust, so the coolant cannot circulate normally.

(5) Water pump Cummins generator set failed. Check whether the water pump is working well, the water pump will not work properly if the driving gear pump is worn. New normal circulation must be replaced.
