The situation where the self-produced diesel generator sends power to the municipal network is called reverse power transmission. There are two serious consequences:

1) If the municipal network has not been powered off, the municipal network power supply and the self-produced generator set power supply will be discontinued during the same period, which will definitely damage the generator set. If the capacity of self-produced generator set is large, it will also cause shock in the city network.

2) The municipal network has been powered out and is under maintenance. If the self-produced generator set sends power backward, the maintenance personnel of the power supply department will be electrocuted and killed.
