Due to the influence of the use environment, diesel generator sets may encounter different degrees of collision and water and gas erosion, causing cracking, wear and corrosion. How to repair these damages? Haixing provides a way to repair common damage to concentrated bodies.
1. Frozen crack. This is a damage that diesel engines are prone to in winter. Cracks that appear on the body can only be repaired by cold welding when they are not subjected to stress. First, cut the crack-resting holes at both ends of the crack, then plant several iron nails along the crack, then patch a few pieces perpendicular to the direction of the crack, and use low-carbon steel welding rods to weld them firmly along the crack and patch. Pay attention to tapping the weld with a small hammer while welding, and then correct it with flame after all welding.
2. The bearing holes of the upper and lower balance shaft end 205 are worn. This situation must be repaired immediately. When the bearing hole is worn lightly, it can be repaired by the enlarged 205 bearing outer circle method. Use oxygen welding to place the steel wire symmetric point at a small point, correct it with a file, and then press it into the bearing hole to use. Another method is to use a 2mm thick iron plate to make a large flat pad with an inner hole of 50mm, make three wire holes on the flat pad and the body, and fix it with flat head screws. When the bearing hole is severely worn, you can bore the large original hole inlay and make three small wire holes in the inlaid bushing and the joint of the body, and fix it with screws.
3. The cylinder head bolt hole slip wire or damaged. This situation is caused by excessive force when tightening the cylinder head nut or pounding the cylinder. If it is a single wire hole slip, you can re-modify the wire and process a cylinder head bolt that matches the wire hole. If the wire hole is broken or multiple wire holes are slippery, it cannot be repaired.
4. Trachoma. First, use a steel tap to expand the hole, then plug it with aluminum wire, or block it with spot welding.
The damage that may occur in the generator set is not just these. During the maintenance process, we should not only focus on the inner part and ignore the outside. The body is equivalent to the protective shell of the generator set. If there is a problem with the protective shell, the damage inside will of course be accelerated. Therefore, good maintenance of the engine is an important step in protecting the generator set.
