1. The valve leakage sounds.
The valve leakage sounds outside the valve room, which is more obvious at high load and low speed, and the sound increases with the increase of load.
The main reason is that when reaming the valve seat, due to improper operation or excessive wear of the valve conduit, the valve seat is skewed or the valve gap is small, resulting in valve ablation, causing the valve to be closed tightly and leak.
Treatment method: Remove the cylinder head, grind the valve, check the valve spring force, and readjust the valve clearance.

2. When the valve knocking sound
is running at idle speed, a continuous knocking sound occurs between the tail end of the valve stem and its driving member, which increases with the increase of the rotation speed. The sound does not change when the engine temperature changes or the fire breaks.
Main reasons:
1) The adjusted valve clearance has changed (the locking is not firm, the valve stem and the drive part are worn, and the valve has not been adjusted properly.
2) The valve adjustment screw is worn, the lock nut is loose, and the valve clearance is too large or inconsistent.
3) The valve spring seat is worn and the valve stem and the conduit are worn too much.
Treatment method: Re-adjust the valve clearance. If the locking nut on the adjustment screw is loose, it should be locked firmly and replace the seriously worn parts.

3. The valve spring should be replaced if it breaks.

4. The valve seat sounds, the
valve seat surface is rough, the processing accuracy is unqualified, the interference of the seat race is improperly selected, the material selection is too large after being heated, or the valve seat is inadequate to the requirements.
Treatment method: Re-install the valve seat according to the assembly process requirements, the upper end surface is flush with the body plane, and the heightened part must be leveled.
