During the operation of the generator set , the parts will heat up due to friction between parts. At this time, we need to use cooling water, and cooling water cannot be used with any water quality. Here Haixing will introduce to you how to choose cooling.
The cooling water used to directly cool the diesel engine should be clean fresh water, such as rainwater, snowwater, tap water with good quality or clear river water. If well water or other groundwater is used directly, because they contain more minerals, it is easy to form scale in the water cavity of the diesel engine, affecting the cooling effect and causing failure. If only hard water is limited by conditions, it must be softened before it can be used.
There are two commonly used methods of softening cooling water
: ① Boiling the water to precipitate.
② Add o to each liter of water. 67s caustic soda (caustic soda), stir and precipitate with clean water from the upper layer. We especially remind you: seawater is never allowed to directly cool diesel engines.
In addition, when the diesel engine is finished running, the cooling water should be drained. To prevent the cooling water from freezing and expanding the volume of the icing water from damaging the generator set.
