diesel fuelGenerator setThere are clear regulations on water temperature, but many people do not follow the regulations in actual operation, causing the water temperature to be too high or too low, which will have a great negative impact on the life of the unit. Generally speaking, as long as the water temperature does not exceed 95°C, cavitation will not occur and the cooling water (liquid) will not be interrupted. On the contrary, if the water temperature is too low, it will be extremely harmful to the operation of the diesel engine.
First, the temperature is low, the diesel combustion conditions in the cylinder deteriorate, the fuel atomization is poor, the after-ignition combustion period is extended, the engine is prone to rough operation, and the damage to crankshaft bearings, piston rings and other components is aggravated, the power is reduced, and the economy is reduced.
Second, the water vapor after combustion is easy to condense on the cylinder wall, causing metal corrosion.
Third, the burning diesel may dilute the engine oil and worsen the lubrication condition.
Fourth, the fuel is incompletely burned and forms colloid, causing the piston ring to get stuck in the piston ring groove, the valve to get stuck, and the pressure in the cylinder to decrease when compression ends.
Fifth, the water temperature is too low and the engine oil temperature is too low. The engine oil becomes thicker and the fluidity becomes poor. The oil pump has less oil, resulting in insufficient oil supply. In addition, the crankshaft bearing clearance becomes smaller and the lubrication is poor.
