some friends are inGenerator setFailure to select the right equipment, small defects during operation, or inadequate daily maintenance will create safety hazards for the generator set. Today Haixing is going to tell you about several causes of generator set fires.
(1) Overload Overload will occur if the generator set is overloaded, the voltage is too low, and the three-phase asynchronous generator set has excessive iron loss.
(2) Short circuit The short circuit of the generator set is divided into turn-to-turn short circuit, phase-to-phase short circuit and short circuit to ground.
(3) Poor contact. If the various contacts of the connecting coil or the lead wire contacts are loose, the contact resistance will increase.
(4) Improper selection of generator sets with different protection forms should be used in different places, otherwise fires may occur.
(5) Single-phase operation If the three-phase asynchronous generator set continues to operate when one phase is not energized, single-phase current will flow through the other two phases. This state is called single-phase operation.
(6) There is friction during the rotation of the mechanical friction generator set, and friction will increase the temperature of the generator set.
(7) Poor grounding device When the generator set is short-circuited to ground, if there is no reliable grounding protection, the casing will be charged.
In daily use, we need to strengthen the monitoring and maintenance of power generation. The operating status of the generator set can be shown by the size of the line current, the rise and fall of the voltage, the rise and fall of the temperature, and the difference in sound. Generally speaking, the current, voltage and temperature rise of the generator set must not exceed the allowable values, otherwise the load should be controlled. Once abnormalities are found, they should be dealt with promptly.
