During the use of diesel generator sets, oil supply is a relatively important link. If the oil supply time is too early or too late, it will be harmful. The fuel supply time of the diesel engine is too early, that is, the fuel supply advance angle is too large. At this time, because the pressure and temperature of the cylinder gas are low, the ignition delay period is prolonged, making the diesel engine difficult to start and running rough. Cylinder knocking, power drop, black smoke from the exhaust pipe, and wear and tear of machine parts are all caused by this. If the fuel supply time is too late, that is, the fuel supply advance angle is too small, the power of the diesel engine will decrease and the fuel consumption rate will increase, causing the body temperature to be too high, the cooling water to boil, and white smoke or black smoke to emit from the exhaust pipe.

When adjusting, turn the ring gear of the flywheel so that the timing zero line on the flywheel is aligned with the pointer on the inspection window on the flywheel housing. The piston of the first cylinder is at the starting point of the expansion stroke. Twist the push rod by hand to move freely left and right. The advance of the first cylinder , the exhaust valve is closed>. Remove the side cover of the fuel injection pump and rotate the adapter plate so that the plunger spring of the first cylinder is in a just compressed state. Then turn the flywheel in the opposite direction (clockwise) by about 23 degrees, tighten the fuel injection pump bolts (adjust the governor). If the diesel engine speed is low, you can loosen the bolts on the adapter plate for fine adjustment. There is an index engraved on the drive shaft joint. Line, 3 degrees per grid, and then tighten the bolts>. In actual maintenance work, the oil supply advance angle is generally checked. The oil supply advance angle refers to the crankshaft angle between the piston and the top dead center of the compression stroke when oil just comes out from the outlet of the fuel injection pump. Because checking the fuel supply advance angle is more convenient and accurate than the fuel injection advance angle. If the fuel supply advance angle of the diesel engine is found, and if you want to know the fuel injection advance angle of the engine, you only need to subtract 8 degrees from the value of the fuel supply advance angle, which is the injection advance angle.
