Abnormality: The valve air leakage sounds outside the valve chamber, which is more obvious at high load and low speed. The sound increases as the load increases;
Reason: When reaming the valve seat, due to improper operation or excessive wear of the inner hole of the valve guide, the valve seat is skewed or the valve clearance is small, resulting in valve ablation, resulting in loose valve closing and air leakage noise.
Treatment method: Remove the cylinder head, grind the valve, check the elasticity of the valve spring, and readjust the valve clearance.
Abnormality: When the engine is running at idle speed, there is a continuous knocking sound between the tail end of the valve stem and its driving part, which becomes stronger as the rotational speed increases. The sound does not change when the engine temperature changes or the engine fires off.
reason:
1. The adjusted valve clearance has changed (the locking is not firm, the valve stem and the driving part are worn), and the valve is not adjusted properly.
2. The valve adjustment screw is worn, the lock nut is loose, and the valve clearance is too large or inconsistent.
3. The valve spring seat is worn and grooved, and the valve stem and guide are excessively worn.
Treatment method: Re-adjust the valve clearance. If the lock nut on the adjustment screw is loose, lock it firmly and replace the severely worn parts.
Abnormality: Valve spring is broken
Solution: Replace.
Abnormality: The valve seat sounds and the seat ring falls off
Reasons: The surface of the valve seat is rough, the machining accuracy is unqualified, the interference of the seat is improperly selected, resulting in looseness, the material is improperly selected and deformed excessively when exposed to heat, or the inlaying process of the valve seat does not meet the requirements.
Treatment method: Reinstall the valve seat according to the assembly process requirements. The upper end surface should be flush with the body plane, and the higher part should be smoothed.
