3. Maintenance of fuel injectors

The fuel injector should be checked and adjusted once for about 700 hours. If the opening pressure is less than the specified value of 1Mpa or the needle valve is seriously damaged, the needle valve should be removed and placed in cleaning diesel. Use wooden chips to scrape off the carbon deposits, use fine steel wire to clear the spray holes, and then debug after installation. The fuel injection pressure difference between the cylinders of the same machine must be less than 1Mpa.

In order for the diesel injected into the cylinder to burn in time, the oil supply time of the oil pump must be checked regularly. If the fuel supply time is too early, the vehicle will have difficulty starting and faults in knocking the cylinder; if the fuel supply time is too late, it will cause black smoke to emit exhaust gas, the machine temperature is too high, and fuel consumption will increase.

The mating accuracy of the injector needle valve pair is high and the injection hole diameter is very small. Therefore, the specified grade of clean diesel must be selected strictly according to seasonal changes, otherwise the injector will not work normally.

When cleaning the fuel injector needle valve pair, do not collide with other hard objects, nor can it fall to the ground, so as to avoid bruising and scratching. When replacing the needle valve pair of the injector, the new pair should be placed in hot diesel oil at 80℃ for about 10 seconds, so that the anti-rust oil can be fully dissolved, and then the needle valve is pulled back and forth in the valve body in the clean diesel to wash it, so as to avoid the failure of the needle valve sticking to the anti-rust oil when the injector is working due to the melting of the anti-rust oil.
