4. Analysis of abnormal sound of the unit

1. The injection time of the diesel engine is too early or too late: the cylinder makes a rhythmic crisp metal tapping sound or a low and unclear tapping sound. At this time, the fuel injection advance angle should be adjusted;

2. The connecting rod bearing bushing is worn to make the fitting clearance too large: during operation, the sound of the machine impact is heard in the crankcase, and when the diesel engine speed is suddenly reduced, the bearing bushing can be heard. If this happens, the bearing bushing should be removed and replaced if necessary;

3. The piston pin and the connecting rod small head bushing hole are too loose: there is a light and sharp sound when the diesel engine is running, and this sound is especially clear when the constant speed is running. Replace the connecting rod small head bushing to make it within the specified clearance range;

4. The gap between the piston and the cylinder liner is too large: When the diesel engine is running, the impact sound is heard on the outer wall of the cylinder body, and the impact sound is aggravated when the speed rises. At this time, the piston should be replaced or the cylinder liner should be replaced depending on the wear condition;

5. The valve spring of the diesel engine is broken, the tappet is bent, and the push rod sleeve is worn: a rhythmic slight knock sound is made at the entire cylinder. At this time, the diesel engine parts should be checked and damaged parts should be replaced, and the valve clearance should be corrected;

6. The radial clearance of the crankshaft rolling main bearing is too small: a particularly sharp sound is made during the diesel engine operation, and the sound is clearer when the throttle is increased; the radial clearance of the crankshaft rolling main bearing is too large: a 'huohuo' sound is made during the operation.
