The second inspection is to first check whether the model is obsolete, then look at the newness of the diesel engine from the appearance, and check whether the parts are complete and whether there is any damage.

Third test: It is to test the engine. The specific method of diesel generator set is

1. Rotate the crankshaft to supply fuel to the fuel injection pump. If the fuel injection nozzle emits a crisp fuel injection sound, it means that the performance of the plunger pair and the fuel injection nozzle is good; if there is no abnormal sound in the gear chamber, it means that the wear of the gear is not serious.

2. Shake the flywheel up and down. If there is no sound or obvious shaking, it means that the gap between the crankshaft main journal and the bearing bush is not large; if there is no clicking sound when turning the flywheel, it means that the wear between the crankshaft connecting rod journal and the connecting rod bush is not serious. .

3. Decompress the cylinder and crank the crankshaft. When the decompression is removed, if the rebound force of the piston is large and the flywheel rotates rapidly, it means that the wear level of the cylinder liner, piston and piston ring is small. At this time, the oil pressure gauge reading should be no less than 1 or the red oil pressure indicator float can rise quickly, and it should be laborious to press the float by hand.

4. It is easier to start the diesel engine. If the exhaust is colorless or light gray, the speed is stable, and there is no noise, it means the diesel engine is in good technical condition.

Through the above methods, the quality of old diesel engines can generally be distinguished. On the one hand, you can determine whether the other party is selling a refurbished machine. On the other hand, if you are purchasing second-hand equipment, you can also estimate the price of the old diesel generator set through the above identification.
