The so-called A-level maintenance is daily maintenance. This isGenerator set maintenanceBasic approach.Through the following steps, you can promptly discover problems that occur during the operation of the unit to avoid major accidents.
l) Check the generator working report;
2) Check the generator oil level and coolant level;
3) Daily check whether the generator is damaged or leaking, and whether the belt is loose or worn;
4) Check the air filter, clean the air filter element, and replace it if necessary;
5) Drain water or sediment from the fuel tank and fuel filter;
6) Check the water filter;
7) Check the starting battery and battery fluid, and add supplementary fluid if necessary;
8) Start the generator and check if there is any abnormal noise;
9) Clean the water tank, cooler and heat dissipation net dust with air.

Level B maintenance is an upgraded version of Level A maintenance. It replaces parts that have been used for a long time to improve the efficiency of the unit.
1) Repeat the A-level daily inspection;
2) Replace the diesel filter every 100 to 250 hours;
All diesel filters cannot be cleaned.Replacement only.100 to 250 hours is just a flexible time and must be replaced according to the actual cleanliness of the diesel;
3) Every 200 to 250 hours, replace the generator oil and oil filter;
Engine oil must meet US API CF grade or above;
4) Replace the air filter (the unit operates for 300-400 hours);
Pay attention to the computer room environment and decide when to replace the air filter. This filter can be cleaned with *;
5) Replace the water filter and add DCA concentration;
6) Clean the crankcase breathing valve filter.

C-level maintenance is the final version, debugging important parts to ensure safety.
When the unit runs for 2000-3000 hours, please perform the following tasks:
Repeat A and B level maintenance
1) Remove the valve chamber cover and clean the oil and sludge;
2) Tighten the screws of all parts (including the running part and the fixed part);
3) Use Engine Cleaner to clean the crankcase, sludge, iron filings and sediments;
4) Check the wear degree of the turbocharger, clean the carbon deposits, and make adjustments;
5) Check and adjust valve clearance;
6) Check the working conditions of the PT pump and injector, adjust the injector stroke, and make adjustments;
7) Check and adjust the tightness of the fan belt and water pump belt, adjust or replace them: clean the water tank cooling net, and check the performance of the thermostat.

Minor repairs are also called D-level maintenance. When the unit runs for 3000-4000 hours, key parts of the unit are cleaned and replaced.
l) Check the degree of wear of valves, valve seats, etc., and repair or replace them;
2) Check the working condition of PT pump and injector, repair and adjust;
3) Check and adjust the torque of the connecting rod and each fastening screw;
4) Check and adjust valve clearance;
5) Adjust the injector stroke;
6) Check and adjust the tension of the fan charger belt;
7) Clean the carbon deposits in the intake branch pipe;
8) Clean the intercooler core;
9) Clean the entire oil lubrication system;
10) Clean the oil sludge and metal filings in the rocker arm chamber and oil pan.

However, during intermediate maintenance (the unit operates for 6000-8000 hours), the engine needs to be debugged and inspected internally.
(1) Including minor repair projects;
(2) Disassemble the engine (except the crankshaft);
(3) Check the cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, intake and exhaust valves, crank connecting rod mechanism, valve mechanism, lubrication system, cooling system and other vulnerable parts, and replace them if necessary;
(4) Check the fuel supply system and adjust the oil pump and nozzle;
(5) Repair and inspect the electric ball of the generator, clean the oil deposits, and lubricate the electric ball bearings.

Finally, overhaul (9000-15000 hours), debugging and maintenance.
(1) Including intermediate maintenance projects;
(2) Disassemble all engines;
(3) Replace the cylinder block, pistons, piston rings, large and small bearings, crankshaft thrust pads, intake and exhaust valves, and a complete engine overhaul kit;
(4) Adjust the oil pump, fuel injector, replace the pump core and fuel injection head;
(5) Replace the supercharger overhaul kit and water pump repair kit;
(6) Correct the connecting rod, crankshaft, engine body and other components, and repair or replace them if necessary.
