Correct maintenance is an important guarantee for ensuring the normal and reliable operation of the diesel engine and extending the service life of the diesel engine. Technical maintenance is divided into the following four categories:
1. Daily technical maintenance.
2. Technical maintenance after working for 125 hours.
3. Technical maintenance after working 500 hours.
4. Technical maintenance after working for 1000 hours.
(I) Daily technical maintenance
1. Check whether each instrument is normal.
2. Check the oil level of the oil pan and oil injection pump.
3. Check the amount of oil in the fuel tank and check whether there is any accumulation of scale and moisture in the precipitation cup. It needs to be disassembled clearly.
4. Treats dust adhered to the air filter element, cavity channels, etc.
5. Check for possible water leakage, oil leakage, and air leakage.
6. Check whether the connections in various parts of the diesel engine are firm.
7. Sweep the mud on the surface and keep the diesel engine, especially electrical equipment clean. If you rinse with water, be careful not to allow water to enter the inside of the diesel engine through the gear cover vent port, dipstick seat hole, and air intake pipe hole.
8. Regularly fill grease into the oil cup of the water pump.
9. Check the electro-hydraulic level of the battery (the thick protective plate should be 10-20 mm high), and distilled water if necessary.
(II) Technical maintenance after working for 125 hours
In addition to repeated 'Daily Technical Maintenance', add the following items:
1. Clean the oil filter, diesel filter element, air filter element and oil pump filter mesh.
2. Change the oil and oil filter element.
3. Check the tension of the transmission belt.
4. Check in and exhaust valve clearance (check once every 250 hours from the second 125 hours).
(III) Technical maintenance after working 500 hours
Repeat 'Technical Maintenance after 125 hours' and add the following items:
1. Check the fuel injection pressure and atomization of the fuel injector, and remove and wash the fuel injector and the pairs if necessary.
2. Check oil supply and teach in advance and adjust it if necessary.
3. Check the water pump drain hole and water leakage, and replace the water seal when not allowed.
4. Check whether the insulation is good when the glow plug is leaking.
5. Check the opening and closing of the thermostat.
6. Check the opening pressure of the oil filter pressure limiting valve and the working condition of the bypass valve, and adjust the pressure limiting valve if necessary.
7. Clean the fuel tank, oil transfer pump and fuel pipeline.
8. Replace the diesel filter element if needed.
(IV) Technical maintenance after working 1,000 hours
In addition to the 'technical maintenance after 500 hours', add the following items:
1. Check the tightening and safety of connecting rod bolts and main bearing bolts.
2. Check the sealing condition of the inlet and exhaust valves, and grind or heavy valves when needed.
3. Disassemble and inspect the starter motor and generator, and fill grease at the bearings.
4. Comprehensively check all components of the diesel engine and replace the piston ring, main bearing bush or connecting rod bushings if needed.
5. The parts removed during maintenance should be reinstalled back to their original location, and run at idle first after reinstallation to remove possible faults. After the diesel engine is running normally, it can be put into use.
