Haixing Power reminds: Do not ignore the generator set filter during maintenance

After the diesel enters the filter, it passes through the filter paper and collects it in the filter cartridge drum, and then goes to the oil injection pump through the oil outlet. The impurities and moisture accumulated at the bottom of the shell are released from the oil drain screw plug at the bottom of the shell. From this flow perspective, everyone should know that the filter has a great impact on the combustion quality, and combustion determines the power generation effect, which means that the role of the filter cannot be ignored.

Then, during the contact between Haixing Power service personnel and customers, we found that many users easily ignore the maintenance of equipment filters in the generator set maintenance work. Let’s take a look at the specific content, learn these precautions, and let the generator set show a combustion effect and provide excellent power supply in the following operations.

1. When maintaining the diesel filter, some users lose the upper and lower sealed rubber gaskets and oil cover of the filter element, so that the diesel oil does not filter through the filter element, and flows into the inner cavity of the filter element without resistance from the gap between the filter element and the filter cover, causing the diesel filter to lose its filter purification effect.

2. Some users reverse the positions of the tray and spring of the diesel filter and even throw them away, so that the oil inlet and outlet holes on the diesel filter cover are open, and the diesel cannot be filtered and directly enters the fuel injection pump.

3. When maintaining the diesel filter, after disassembling the filter, someone found that the interior and filter element were particularly clean without any impurities or moisture, which means that the diesel used was very clean. Little do they know that this is an illusion, which is caused by the loose material of the filter paper and the large micropores of the filter element. At this time, the filter paper did not play a filtering role at all. If during use, it is found that the three precision pairs of the diesel engine fuel system, especially the plug pair, are seriously worn, it may be caused by the inferior filter element.
